  4. How do I get my product repaired?
If the original warranty is in effect, you should follow the manufacturer's instructions. However, if a product fails after the original warranty has expired, but while Extended Service Protection is in effect, then you can initiate a claim on this site. Please note that before you have a product repaired, you need to get approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate.

  5. Who pays to repair a product?
After you have received approval from your Claim Representative on the repair estimate, you would pay for the repair and we would subsequently reimburse you for the pre-authorized cost. Your Extended Service Protection mirrors the scope of the manufacturer's coverage. Therefore, you will be responsible for any diagnostic and teardown costs if the product failure is not covered under the original manufacturer's warranty. See Extended Service Protection Terms of Service for other conditions.

  6. If the manufacturer's warranty is limited in some way, does Extended Service Protection have similar limitations?
Yes. Extended Service Protection extends the timeframe of the manufacturer's coverage. For example, if the manufacturer's warranty covers solely parts, then Extended Service Protection likewise covers only parts. Or, if the manufacturer's warranty covers six months parts and 3 months labor, then Extended Service Protection extends the coverage to 1 year parts and 6 months labor.
