Best Price Guarantee
Frequently Asked Questions
  1. How do I get Best Price Guarantee on an item I purchase?
Best Price Guarantee will apply to every qualified purchase that you make while a member of this service. There is no need to pre-register products. Your price protection is automatic and always active.

As long as you're a Shopper Discounts & Rewards member, if you see the same exact item you purchased, online or offline, advertised for less within 90 days at the same merchant where you originally made the purchase, then we pay you double the difference in price, up to $100.00 per claim and up to $2,000.00 per year. Just file a claim, show us valid proof of the lower price, and we'll reimburse you the difference for the expenses not covered by other avenues of recovery (e.g. a merchant's policy for refunds or reimbursements). The price comparison excludes all sales tax, storage, shipping, handling, postage, transportation, and delivery cost associated with the item.

As an example, if you're shopping at your local electronics store and purchase a new TV for $350, then see the same exact TV on sale at that store two months later for $300, you can get double the difference paid back to you. In this example, that's 2 x $50.00 = $100.00!

  2. Does Best Price Guarantee protect me if the merchant has multiple stores?
In cases where the merchant has multiple presences (online, catalog and physical store locations), Best Price Guarantee applies across all that merchant's venues. Therefore, if you purchase an item from that merchant's catalog and find it sold at a lower price online, if it meets the other criteria outlined here, Best Price Guarantee will protect you. Similarly, if you purchase an item from a chain retailer's local store and find it at a lower price at another of their stores across town, Best Price Guarantee will protect you.

  4. What qualifies as valid proof of a lower price?
As valid proof of the original purchase, you are asked to submit an itemized purchase receipt that shows the item, price, manufacturer, model number, sales date, and the retailer's name and address.

You are also asked to submit, for the identical, lower priced item you found, a copy of the Printed Advertisment or the Non-Auction Internet Advertisement that shows the date of the advertisement, retailer name, the product (advertisement must verify same manufacturer and model number), and sale price.
